Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes
Annual Town Meeting
Hanson Middle School
May 5, 2008
Present: Christopher Colclough, James Egan and James Armstrong. Also present Town Administrator Michael Finglas and Executive Assistant Meredith Marini.
7:00 p.m. Chairman Egan called the meeting to order.
Item I Fisheries & Wildlife ~ Mrs. Marini explained that Joan Pierce of Fisheries and Wildlife met with Mr. Finglas and Mr. Egan earlier in the day to review the Option for the Conservation Restriction. She reminded the Board that the October 2007 Town Meeting authorized the Board to enter into a Conservation Restriction with Fisheries and Wildlife on the Smith Nawazelski property. The Option was the first step in effectuating the process. The Board signed the Option.
Item II Budget – Mr. Finglas informed the Board that he met with Moderator Charlie Mann who indicated that by law he must read the Finance Committee’s recommendations.
MOTION by Armstrong, second by Colclough to adjourn to Town Meeting.
Voted 3 – 0.
7:07 p.m. Adjourned to Town Meeting.
